I’m Andy Hill, founder of Ridgefield Cigar Company, and I want to personally thank you for taking the time to visit our website. It truly means a great deal to me that you’ve taken a moment to learn about our company and the values that define who we are.

For more than 29 years, I had the privilege of serving in the fire service. During that time, I witnessed firsthand the meaning of dedication, sacrifice, teamwork, and service. Those experiences shaped who I am, and they continue to influence everything we do at Ridgefield Cigar Company.

Throughout my career, one of the traditions I came to appreciate was the simple act of sharing a premium cigar. Whether it was after a difficult shift, celebrating a milestone, enjoying time with friends, or reflecting on the day’s events, a cigar had a way of bringing people together. It wasn’t just about smoking—it was about slowing down, appreciating the moment, and enjoying good company.

That appreciation eventually became a passion.

Over the years, I immersed myself in the premium cigar industry, learning about tobacco cultivation, blending, construction, and the incredible craftsmanship that goes into producing a truly exceptional cigar. That journey ultimately led me to Estelí, Nicaragua, where I partnered with experienced cigar makers who share my commitment to quality, consistency, and craftsmanship. Together, we created cigars worthy of carrying the Ridgefield Cigar Company name.

Every cigar we produce is handcrafted with the same values that guided my career in the fire service—honesty, integrity, consistency, attention to detail, and pride in a job done right.

Our motto, “Forged Through Service. Crafted With Pride.”, is much more than a slogan. It represents the people who inspire this company every day—firefighters, military personnel, law enforcement officers, EMS professionals, veterans, first responders, and hardworking blue-collar men and women whose commitment often goes unseen but never goes unnoticed.

Our flagship STUB line was created with those individuals in mind. Life doesn’t always allow time for a two-hour cigar, but that shouldn’t mean sacrificing quality. STUB delivers a premium smoking experience in a format that fits today’s busy lifestyles while honoring those who continue to answer the call.
